E-Learning CoordinatorNew Blood Glucose and Ketones Monitors
The hospital is changing out its blood glucose monitors, and it's one blood ketone monitor. We will be using a new dual device which measures both blood glucose and blood ketones. The procedure to get a blood glucose or ketone result is exactly the same, it just requires a different test strip to be inserted in to the monitor.
Staff could access instructional videos with a click on the following links:
1. How to use the CareSens Dual to Test Blood Glucose/Ketones
this video needs a note – we will not be using the reusable lancet (video playtime 0:34sec – 2mins:08sec)
2. Control Solution Testing
3. Viewing Test Results
