This course is for any nurse who has failed the two attempts at the original test (Basic Level IV Therapy-Initial Certification) on Moodle. This course has the same resources that are currently in the original course.

  • Care of peripheral IV Canulae
  • Blood and blood products administration
  • Drug calculations and medication administration
  • Complications of IV Therapy
  • Infusion Therapies Pumps

This course is intended for PACU nurses who are required to administer direct IV boluses of opiates for the management of moderate to severe pain, in the immediate post-anaesthesia period.
