This course is designed to provide nurses with a comprehensive understanding of the most common chronic medical conditions encountered in our surgical patients over the years.
By gaining knowledge about these conditions, nurses can better anticipate potential challenges, provide optimal care, and ensure a smoother patient experience.
Boulcott Hospital has purchased a new Hemocue machine. It is the latest model and works slightly differently from our old one.
We have developed a mini-course that can be used as an electronic educational resource.
All Ward, DSS, Theatre, PACU nursing staff and the Anaesthetic Technicians are expected to complete this course.
Information about this course:
· has a self-enrollment option
· There is no test but a certificate.
· To get the certificate, you must open and read/watch all resources provided.
· At completion, the course comes with 30 minutes of professional development. The certificate is signed by Paula Rackliff, our PACU Team Leader.
